I takes a lot of effort and "engineering" to make the art "bear attack ready". Often, I place several tubes into each other and protect one side of the "tubular combination" with steel. Then... there are also chains (a must) in order to attach the bear art tubes to a tree; at the appropriate height of course. And... also wooden bait stoppers that serve a dual duty; they structurally reinforce the object and protect the proteins inside against small scavengers and insects. Only after all these elements are assembled, I wrap the whole "art lure" into 3 layers of pristine, Maidstone art paper.
